With qualified yarn, it is not yet possible to directly weave on the machine. Preparation work such as plate making, machine adjustment, and sampling need to be completed first. This is the key bridge to transforming the design into a physical object.

1. Style design and computer plate making

After the designer determines the style, size, and weaving method, the pattern maker will use professional knitting pattern making software to break down the style into machine recognizable weaving programs:

Accurately set the number of needles, rotation speed, and needle retraction logic for each part;

Different weaving methods such as flat knitting, threading, twisting, jacquard weaving, and hollowing correspond to completely different programming logics;

The plate making cycle for complex jacquard and inlaid patterns is several times longer than that of the basic pattern.

2. Pouring yarn and color matching

The tube yarn needs to be rewound by a yarn rewinder, adjusted to fit the shape of a computerized flat knitting machine, and at the same time, the knots and defects in the yarn need to be removed.

If it is a multi-color model, it is necessary to complete color matching in this step to ensure that the colors of each batch are consistent with the standard color card and avoid color differences.

3. Small batch sampling and debugging

Before formal mass production, 1-2 sample garments will be woven:

Verify whether the pattern fits well, whether the weaving method is correct, and whether the size meets the standard;

Adjust the machine tension and yarn feeding amount to avoid issues such as loose edges and dimensional deviations;

After fitting and washing the sample clothes, it is confirmed that the hand feel and shrinkage rate meet the requirements before the formal production order is placed.
